KAM MONTHLY - MAY 2026

How has another month flown by already? I feel like it was just yesterday I was typing up the article on KAM Monthly April! 2026 is really zooming by!

But let's recap all the fun and chaos that went on during the month of May 2026!

Our cover page features a gorgeous picture of two of our Youth Talent/Models, Darcie and Saira from a recent shoot they did with Farmer Kids recently. I just loved the colours in this photo and knew it would make the perfect cover as soon as I saw it! I tried to keep the colour patterns similar throughout the issue, hopefully you can tell!

The KAM office team got up to some pretty awesome things this month, so let's go over them together! Starting off strong, we took a trip out to Martha's Backyard in Mt Wellington to stock up our empty lolly jar (yes, you heard that right, empty!) words of advice, never trust 4 girls in their 20's around a lolly jar - I can guarantee it will not stay full for long haha! This was such a fun way to spend some time out of the office together (for work purposes of course!) and we tried a bunch of sweets none of us had had before which was super fun! In some not so great news, Bella was in a moon boot for majority of the month after breaking her foot at the end of April! However, she totally soldiered on and signed up some pretty amazing looking talent - go Bells!

Molly and I were lucky enough to experience life in Ferndale for ourselves, ditching our work phones and call sheets for scrubs and clipboards - this was such an awesome experience! Being both of our first time on the set of Shortland Street, we got to meet so many other awesome extras and the wonderful production team who did such a great job with each scene we shot! I totally get the hype about being on the set of this iconic show now, we will definitely be making a return soon! Maybe even the whole KAM team - watch this space!  

Finally, probably the most a-MAY-zing news from this month (after the lolly jar top up of course), our very own, Kim, took a trip to the other side of the world and ran The London Marathon! Yes, you heard that right! She is an absolute weapon and managed to finish the race in 4:58:11!!! Not many people can say they have done this - Kim you are such an inspiration, keep up the amazing running!!! KAM are always rooting for you!! 

The news board was once again filled with a bunch of important information for our talent to read, including the date of our next upcoming professional photoshoot, some international production updates we are working on and encouraging readers to check out our social media which we have been working really hard on!

As always, our Models section, Staff Picks and BTS sections have stayed relatively the same and a few more notes for our talent were added in the 'Notes from The Editor' section! May was another jam-packed month for KAM and we are so excited to see what amazing opportunities June brings us all!
