KAM MONTHLY - AUGUST 2026

Quite possible our most exciting edition yet, strap in team, this may be a long one! 

August! A month of full on fashion! New Zealand Fashion Week took place in August and boy, was it a full on month for us! The whole KAM Monthly for the month of August was packed full with all of the glitz and glamour from NZFW (as you can see in the photos below!) so lets get into it!

Before we start, can we just talk about how amazing the cover photo is. This was such a hard decision to make as we had so many phenomenal photos to choose from, but ultimately decided the outfit, the car, the colours and obviously the beautiful KAM model Marya was the final choice! It is such a stunning shot and fits perfectly as the cover photo!

Being able to upload only ten photos to this article was a struggle considering this edition was a whopping 24 pages long, but I have narrowed it down to the ones I think are the most interesting!

Starting with our NZFW recap pages! Here we recapped every show our models walked in, including photos of the looks they were lucky enough to wear on the runway! A few of the agents were lucky enough to attend a couple of the shows during NZFW and couldn't rave more about how amazing they all were! In this section, we also all listed our favourite shows from entire week which were all so different from each other and really interesting to read.

We decided to switch up our normal format and include new segments such as 'Model Testimonies' which is where we had a few of our models give their feedback on the week, and 'NZFW x KAM' where us agents all answered a couple of fashion related questions each! It was super fun coming up with new sections to add into the already jam packed KAM Monthly Magazine and we can't wait to continue to add more in future editions!

As you can see, we included a bunch of photos of our models on the catwalk including Youth Model, Maeve who walked for Sonnie Store and Model, Keltie who was chosen to walk in The Opening Show! They both looked incredible, but make sure to check out the full copy on our Instagram if you want to see even more of our superstars! 

The AS Colour x KAM Models was a super exciting page to create as it highlights the wonderful opportunity we received for a handful of our models to work in collaboration with AS Colour on social media! Our models were asked to create a few pieces of content in exchange for a gifted tracksuit for them to wear at the show from AS Colour - one of the major sponsors of NZFW 2026! This was such an amazing opportunity for our models to be seen on a larger scale as AS Colour reshared their content on their social pages! It was also so cool seeing our models look both so cozy and chic at the same time behind the scenes of their shows! We really hope we get the chance to work with more brands during future NZ Fashion Weeks to come!

Ahua also had a show that took place during NZFW and a whole bunch of KAM Models were lucky enough to be a part of it! The outfits in this particular show were incredible, from bright neons to all black outfits, this show really had it all! We loved seeing the professional photos and videos from this show! Everyone looked like they had such a fun time which we really aren't surprised by! Ahua really looks like such an awesome show to be a part of!

We had a few office updates in this edition, but really nothing compared to NZFW (except maybe Grimace coming in to visit us, that was pretty awesome - check out the full article on it if you are interested!) 

A huge congratulations again to our wonderful models who represented KAM at such a high level during this incredible week, we are so proud of you all and love that we can go back and read through this edition of KAM Monthly whenever we need a NZFW 2026 fix!
