Whats Going On Outside Of Auckland??

People often ask us if there is any filming outside of Auckland and the answer is YES!

Although Auckland is our Agency base and also the primary location for most International and Local Projects, there is still a market in other Locations like - Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, Coromandel, just to name a few!

Not only do these locations host and run entire productions, but plenty of productions that are based in Auckland also travel outside of Auckland for location shoots due to the stunning scenery that Aotearoa has to offer.

A couple of notable production we have worked on below!

Mr Corman

Joseph Gordan-Levitt, Directed, wrote and starred in this Comedy Series that filmed in Wellington. We were able to have a bunch of our Wellington talent of all ages feature in the 2021 series and Joseph noted he LOVED temporarily living in New Zealand and a fun fact he even extended his time here while his kids went to school and they lived the simple NZ life.

The Royal Treatment

This ultra cheesy 2022 Netflix Rom Com's primary location was in Dunedin! The stunning historical buildings and locations that Otago has to offer where the perfect setting for this film. Isn't it also so crazy that they can make little old Dunedin look like the big city streets of New York where the film was supposed to be set? This is still on Netflix if you want to check it out!

After the Party

The Dramatic and critically acclaimed New Zealand Production was set and filmed in Wellington capturing the moody Coast of Mākara, Johnsonville and Lower Hutt. If you are after something more serious, this one is definitely worth a watch if you haven't already! You can catch it on TVNZ On Demand.

A Remarkable Place To Die

Season One and Season Two of this Mystery Drama was filmed in the stunning Queenstown! This is a popular place for filming in New Zealand across different productions, Commercials and Stills shoots. A fun fact about this series is KAM Cast Series Regular Dr Anjali! She is hilarious in this series and we highly recommend. You can also catch this series on TVNZ On Demand.

Time Bandits

The remake of the 1981 classic was filmed in Wellington! This series was directed by the incredible Taika Waititi who also stars in the series alongside Lisa Kudrow! It follows the story of a group of thieves and their newest recruit an 11 year old boy. The comedy has one season and sadly wasnt renewed for a second, but you can still watch the first on Apple TV!
