Tik Tok Catch Up
We have been loving creating Tik Toks for you all this year. From educational videos giving you all tips and tricks on how to thrive in this crazy industry, to collaborating with some of the most incredible food places in Auckland, our account really has it all! Let's catch up on some of our recent posts together!
1. KAM Collaborates;
As I mentioned above, we have had the absolute pleasure of working with some of the coolest food spots in Auckland. Starting with Best Ugly Bagels, where we were all invited to try out their 'Bagel of the month' which just so happened to be the 'Pickolas Cage' - with that name, we considered this very on brand for KAM and simply an important work outing we couldn't say no to! With a sesame bagel as the base, the team loaded on cream cheese whip, cheddar cheese, fresh dill, kiwi onion soup mix, and most importantly, a whole tonne of chopped pickles! It truly was such a burst of flavour in our mouths and we had so much fun working with the incredible BUB team to create some epic content for you all! We also had the privilege of working with the amazing team over at Chicking NZ recently! We were invited to the Glen Eden restaurant to try out their menu and oh my goodness was it incredible! It may have been some of the best chicken we have all ever had! Steering away from the foodie collaborations, we were also lucky enough to work with Breeze Balm and try out their products on our page! Can confirm, everything has gone down a treat in the office and we will restock when we need to! These collaborations are so much fun, not only do we get to all try some delicious food and amazing products, we also get an opportunity to create engaging and exciting content our followers outside of the office. We cannot wait to work with plenty more brands in the future!
2. The school of KAM;
I really missed the opportunity to name this segment on Tik Tok 'The school of KAM', but we have been loving creating more industry focused content over on Tik Tok. Starting earlier this year, we wrote down a bunch of video ideas and have slowly been chipping away at getting them all filmed to share with you all! From 'How to film a self tape' to 'What is a showreel?', these videos are our way of sharing everything we know in order to make your time in this amazing industry just that much better and easier! As agents, we learn a lot each day about what clients, casting directors and production companies are looking for in our talent, so by creating these educational style videos (still in a fun, non-boring way of course!) we find it can be such a benefit when preparing for your next audition or role! 3. Movie Magic!
Don't get me wrong, our days at KAM are always filled with fun, laughs and good vibes, but when our evenings end with a movie premiere, well, it doesn't really get much better than that! We have been fortunate enough to attend three different movie premiers/advanced screenings so far this year, including The Odyssey and Practical Magic 2 and we can confirm, they are as fun as they look! Working in the film industry, it feels super special that we are invited to events like this, we are just waiting for an invitation to a movie that KAM has worked on, that would truly be incredible! 4. Taste Test Friday!
Quite possibly our favourite segment each week! A series where we try out new snacks, food places and drinks and give our honest reviews/opinions! We have tried every type of snack under the sun from Shapes to Smoothies and Pringles to Pods! We thoroughly enjoy this segment as it allows us to try new snacks and trending cafes and we can technically justify it as an essential piece of content for our account as we have so many invested watchers who are constantly waiting for the next Taste Test Friday and would hate to let anyone down (I mean that's how I try and sell it to management anyway!) It has become a tradition that every time we see something in the supermarket that could be interesting to try or is new on the shelf, we share it with the team and create content around it. It is such a fun, lighthearted segment that we all look forward to each week and enjoy hearing feedback or any future snack recommendations from our viewers!
5. Getting our groove on!
If you haven't already noticed, we are quite the multi-talented bunch here at KAM. From acting in skits to being top tier food reviewers, it doesn't stop there! We consider ourselves skilled dancers too! From learning iconic dances from movies/TV shows to even choreographing our own, we really put the Talent in KAM Talent! No, but in all seriousness, we have picked up the dancing shoes this year and have had so much fun learning new routines and moves for our audience to enjoy watching! Learning dances such as 'We're all in this together' from High School Musical, to 'The Hand Jive' from Grease, we really cover all genres!
