What to expect when signing at KAM!

Let me guess, you’re reading this because you’ve just jumped on our website, filled out a join submission form and are sitting, twiddling your thumbs until you hear back from us? Well, while you wait, let me explain how it works once you’ve signed up with KAM! So, once we have had a chance to go through your application and decided whether or not you are a good fit for KAM, we will send you an email containing some initial screening questions and give you the chance to let us know a suitable time and date for you to come and visit us in office to create your KAM profile. It is super important you answer these questions correctly and thoroughly! It is also important to remember that as much as we would love to accommodate everyone, we do book out super quickly, so there is a chance we do not have the time you have requested. Please bear with us as we will always try our best to find a time and date that works for both of us, as soon as we can!

Once we have decided on a time together, we will email you through a copy of our contract, a parking map and an IRD form to READ through - you DO NOT need to fill this out, a digital copy of each form is signed in office. Please make sure you read thoroughly and come prepared with any important questions you may have about either form.

Ahh, Interview day is here! You have woken up, gotten yourself all ready, dressed in neat, clean, presentable clothing and have just arrived at the office. You will have followed the parking map we sent in our confirmation email and have parked in our free underground parking space with 5 minutes to spare before your interview. Please try to not come any earlier as we are usually booked back to back with interviews, so you may be asked to sit until we are able to see you. Once you are in and introduced to our recruiter, it’s time to sign your forms and create your profile. We will only let you sign the papers if you are 100% happy to do so - if you decide you’re unsure, that is 100% fine! What we do, is still get all of your details, measurements and photos and create your portfolio, however we will email you a link where you can sign the contract and IRD form from home when you are ready to do so. Our recruiter will then gather all the details she needs from you (email address, emergency contact, home address, ethnicity, skills, clothing size etc) before moving onto taking your chest/bust, waist and hip measurements.

Then it’s photo time! We always need a big teethy smile for your profile. This is so production can see what you look like when you’re smiling properly! We will take headshots, mid body and full body shots of you. Feel free to pose however makes you feel comfortable, as long as you are always looking at the camera. Once this is all done, there will be a final chance for you to ask any questions, otherwise if we have covered everything, you’re good to go! From here, we will contact you via email regarding any jobs we have for you to apply for. This is sent in the form of an availability check - you will get used to these as we are constantly sending them out to our talent! It is up to you if you want to apply for the job you are sent, you will get put forward to production who have the final say on who they would like for the shoot. If you are successful, we will contact you usually via text - so please always be contactable! If you do not want to apply for the job, please DO NOT reply - just ignore us! Easy Peasy!
