What's going on at KAM?
Okay but how is it already nearly the end of August? This year really has flown by, right?! Let's catch up and see what's been going on at KAM lately!
Productions:
We have had a busy year with both International and Local productions and it's not stopping anytime soon! We have briefs coming in everyday for various jobs, whether it's TV Commercials, Short Films, Modelling opportunities, Social Shoots or film projects, there is always a bunch of work for our talent to apply for! We also have a very exciting production happening very soon outside of Auckland in the Rotorua area - so if you are wanting to join KAM to be considered for this opportunity, apply now!
NZFW:
New Zealand Fashion Week was a huge success for KAM this year! We had a total of ------- models take part over -------- shows during the jam-packed week of fun and fashion! Some of the KAM agents were lucky enough to attend a couple of the shows, including The Opening Show, The Graduates Show and Pacific Fusion - all the shows looked amazing and were highly rated by our staff! We were also able to organise a collaboration between AS Colour and a couple of our models where they were gifted a tracksuit each in exchange for some social media content, and boy did they all deliver!! We received so much content from them all featuring them looking comfy yet fabulous in their sets behind the scenes of their show - such a perfect collaboration for everyone! We are so excited to see what NZFW 2027 brings for our models!
KAM Office:
Things have been going great in the KAM Office this year! We have been busy working away at our individual jobs and have had a bunch of new faces walk into the office to join our books, which has been incredible to see! We have been firing out Tik Toks each day on our account (@KAM_TALENT) and keeping up to date with all of our completed jobs on our Instagram accounts! We have also been so lucky to have had a few brands work with us on content. For example, we recently visited Best Ugly Bagel where we did a gifted collaboration, Breeze Balm kindly gifted us some of their lovely products to try out and we even had a surprise visit from Grimace - yes, Grimace the McDonalds Icon - who brought in a DIY McFlurry bar for us to enjoy!! We have beeb so lucky to have so many wonderful experiences for us all to enjoy!
Shortland Street:
Earlier this month it was confirmed that the iconic Shortland Street will be returning for another season which is amazing news not only for avid viewers, but also our talent who get to be back on set at Ferndale! Yay! I have had so many emails from talent who are keen to scrub up and jump on set when filming returns, so if this sounds like something you want to be a part of, email team@kamtalent.com so I can keep you in mind for upcoming roles!
Movie Premiers:
Another incredible opportunity the KAM office team has recently been a part of, is getting invited to multiple NZ movie premiers! This has been so much fun and such a special experience for the KAM agents as we are such a big part of the film industry NZ, it just feels like a full circle moment to be invited to these premiers! So far, we have attended Supergirl and The Odyssey and have the premier of Practical Magic 2 coming up earlier next month which we are absolutely buzzing about! We post about these on our social media, so make sure you are following us to keep up with it all!
We are hoping the remainder of 2026 is just as busy and exciting for not only us, but our talent too!
