KAM Monthly Introduction

KAM Monthly Introduction

Earlier this year, when Liv mentioned to me that we needed a new approach to the monthly newsletter, I put on my Editor in Chief hat, did some planning and research and just like that, the KAM Monthly Magazine was born.

The magazine has quickly become a fan favourite in the KAM community, the feedback we receive each month has been so incredibly overwhelming, it really gets us excited to create the next months edition! The KAM Monthly is sent to every single one of our talents at the start of each month and is packed full of all the latest news, updates, important notices and so much more from that month! We share pieces of it on our social media, but only our talent are sent the whole issue.

We try to keep each month a little bit different and fresh, keeping our readers engaged and excited for each upcoming issue! In saying this, we like to keep some pages the same, such as our news board and general housekeeping notes. We will change notices around every now and then, depending on what we need to communicate to our talent, but for the most part, each month has relevant information for all year round!

This year has also been very centred around the KAM office team putting ourselves out there for our talent to get to know us a little more. This has been on both social media and in KAM monthly. I decided to incorporate a section called 'Staff Picks' (a concept many established magazines use) where each month I send the office girls 4 questions they have to answer for the magazine. This has been such a fun way for our talent to get to know a little more about the agents they receive emails from each week as well as us getting to know each other more too!

The cover is always the hardest part when creating KAM Monthly. We have so many incredible talent with professional photos who would look fabulous on the cover, it's just a matter of narrowing down our choices and picking one (trust me, sometimes it takes longer than I care to admit). From the cover, I try to theme the entire issue with similar colour pallets to keep a cohesive, professional look throughout the entire issue, while still remaining entertaining and fun for readers to enjoy of course!

The KAM Monthly has really become a core piece in connecting with our talent pool. Everyone seems to enjoy each issue and we are constantly receiving suggestions to make each month better. Thank you to everyone who has made any suggestions, given constructive feedback or even emailed to say they are enjoying what they are seeing each month. I really do appreciate it as I can take this feedback and work on making KAM Monthly something bigger and better every month!
