GRIMACE PAYS A VISIT
This may have been the best day so far this year! We had the one and only, Grimace - yes THE Grimace from McDonalds, pay the KAM office a visit!
Quite possibly the most iconic sentence we have ever said haha! But yes, we were lucky enough to be approached by an incredible PR Company who had asked if we would like to be part of a special campaign they're running in partnership with McDonalds, in order to promote their limited edition product, McDonaldland Cookies, where proceeds go toward the Ronald McDonald House Charity. Not only were the cookies delicious, it also made them taste even better knowing we were helping support the family and individuals who depend on this amazing charity! Of course we could not turn this incredible opportunity down and said yes immediately!
Liv and I decided to not tell the rest of the girls what was happening, letting it be the ultimate surprise that they wouldn't have guessed in a million years, and let me tell you, they were shocked! The day came around and we sent the team outside to hide until Grimace and his team were ready to make their entrance! Grimace waltzed on into the office with the help of a couple of his Maccas teammates and as you can imagine, completely stunned the rest of the KAM team! Grimace was accompanied by a few of his Maccas teammates, who had brought us a DIY McFlurry bar to enjoy! Like, could this day have gotten any better?!
We all created our dream McFlurries, topped with chocolate and caramel sauce and most importantly, a packet of McDonaldland Cookies each! The best midday treat on a random Thursday! Kim was extra happy as the cookies reminded her of a treat she used to have as a child, bringing back the best nostalgic memories for her!
We danced with Grimace and took a bunch of photos until it was time for him and his team to head to the next lucky office on their list! The campaign was such a joy to be a part of, considering it was all set up to promote such an important charity, it felt extra special to be involved! So thank you so much McDonalds and Fleishmanhillardnz (PR Company) for making our day!
