Combat workshop for film and TV

Price: $110 inc GST per person ($50 deposit payable on registration)

Purpose of workshop

To practice simulated sword action, fight movements & style , selling hits, co-ordination, Timing & most important, the confidence to perform in any combat action ( sword, hand to hand combat, guns, martial arts ) So, come have some fun!!!!

The course day will start with: Warm up, Break falls, Punching, kicking techniques, Taking and selling hits, Camera angles. Then your put into pairs to Choreograph your own fights.

After lunch  we get into sword work; Basic combos of sword play, How to swing a sword safely , Foot work with sword Break falls with sword, taking and selling hits with a sword. Following this students will be put into groups and they will be taught to put a fight
together.

You will need a reasonable level of fitness and health to attend. There are 3 levels, Depending on the individuals performance on the day, I will determine whether they go onto level two or straight to Advanced level.
